The Non-Surgical Facelift Treatment (That’s Proven to Work by Cosmetic Surgeons)

Published: January 4, 2019

No matter how old you are, you’re probably using some anti-ageing products to combat lines and wrinkles. Now, there’s a treatment that can give your face the life that you really want.

The anti-ageing industry is a multi-billion dollar business. Globally, we’re spending hundreds of billions on it. That goes to everything from creams and lotions through to full-blown facelifts.

In Australia, thousands of people spend up to $35,000 on facelift procedures. Many others opt for collagen injections.

Every one of those people wants to do the exact same thing with these anti-ageing treatments:

Get rid of the wrinkles that develop as you get older.

Going under the knife is an extreme solution. Having somebody jab needles into your face isn’t much better.

And all of those creams aren’t going to have as drastic an effect as you’re looking for.

You need a non-surgical facelift procedure that offers results without all of the pain.

Ulfit is the answer.

Ulfit combines Radio Frequency (RF) and High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology. This creates an extremely effective non-surgical facelift procedure.

And it gets results.

HIFU uses micro-focused ultrasound waves to delve deep into your skin’s layers. Most importantly, it penetrates the skin without having to damage the surface.

When delivered to the dermal layer, it encourages the production of collagen and leads to rejuvenated skin. It then digs even deeper into the superficial muscular aponeurotic system. From here, it generates long-lasting lift, making it one of the most effective anti-ageing treatments.

A cosmetic surgeon in Turkey demonstrates just how effective HIFU can be.

A Surgeon Finds a New Solution

In 2016, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Naci Celik decided it was time to look into new technologies. Based at PRAGO Klinik, he noted the number of people who came in looking for anti-ageing treatments. These included surgical facelifts.

But he was also aware of the rise of HIFU technology and knew that it claimed to provide a non-surgical facelift alternative.

He collected a group of 100 participants who wished to try to the treatment for themselves. He divided this group into three smaller groups based on the treatment they wanted:

  • 20 received HIFU treatment for wrinkle-related issues, such as crow’s feet and eye brow lifts.
  • 34 people received the treatment in order to tighten their skin.
  • 46 wanted to see if HIFU would help them to develop jawline definition.

Dr. Celik applied the treatment to each patient and waited.

The results were evident immediately after the treatment. But Dr. Celik wanted to discover if patients still felt happy several months after the fact. He revisited his study subjects after 90 days and then after 180 days to assess their satisfaction levels.

He found that 67% of participants gave the response of either being “Satisfied” or “Very Satisfied” at the 90-day point. At the 180-day point, that figure stood at 55%.

More than half of the people in his test group saw a marked improvement.

That alone demonstrates HIFU’s effectiveness as a non-surgical facelift alternative. But it’s also important to understand just why people want to find an alternative in the first place.

The Traditional (And Painful) Facelift Procedure

The traditional facelift has been one of the world’s most popular anti-ageing procedures for many years.

It also comes with a lot of risk.

It’s a surgical procedure that will see you go under anaesthesia. Depending on the procedure, this may be a local anaesthesia with sedatives. Or, it may be a general anaesthesia.

In either case, you have to undergo a lot of preparation before you can even get the procedure done.

A typical facelift takes between two and five hours. It involves a surgeon making an incision, usually from the ear and up to the hairline. Many procedures also require a secondary incision that runs from the back of the ear and to the scalp.

The surgeon will then lift the skin away from the fat and tissues that lies beneath. They pull this upwards to tighten the skin while removing any excess. Some procedures also involve tightening of the deeper tissues.

After that, the surgeon closes the incision using stitches or staples. Some patients require a drain, which removes additional fluid and bloods. This gets placed behind the ear and usually has to stay there for two days.

It’s a painful procedure. And if something goes wrong, you could end up with all sorts of cosmetic issues. There are plenty of examples of botched facelifts due to mistakes made on the part of the surgeon.

But even if everything goes according to plan, there are still plenty of potential side effects.

Many facelift recipients experience bruising and bleeding for several days. There’s also the risk of infection that comes with any surgical procedure. In rare case, the patient can experience loss hair or necrosis of the skin.

This is when the skin actually dies.

And beyond all of that, there’s the permanent scarring that comes from the incisions that the surgeon has to make.

It’s no wonder that Dr. Celik and so many others want to find non-surgical facelift alternatives. A traditional facelift commands a high price for the sake of anti-ageing.

HIFU technology can achieve amazing results as an alternative on its own. But when you combine it with RF technology, you get truly amazing results.

What is RF Technology?

Much like HIFU, RF technology has a stimulating effect on the collagen in your skin.

Collagen is a protein that you can think of as your skin’s scaffolding. It’s responsible for holding everything in place. You’ll find it in your bones, muscles, and tissues. Without it, your body would quite literally fall apart.

As we get older, our body starts producing less collagen. Plus, the collagen that’s already there starts to deteriorate. That’s what leads to wrinkles and lines forming. And it’s why these non-surgical facelift options tackle the collagen issue directly.

RF procedures target the exact area where the skin has started to sag or wrinkle. Much like with HIFU, the RF waves penetrate your skin’s layers without leaving any visible marks or wounds.

However, RF focuses more on tightening the skin over lifting the underlying tissues. The heating from the RF waves causes the fibres in your collagen to contract. This essentially pulls the fibres back into place. Better yet, the treatment gives your fibroblasts’ metabolism a boost. These are the cells that produce your collagen fibres.

If they’re more active, you’re more prepared to fight the effects of ageing.

The end results are much tighter skin and increased collagen production. When combined with HIFU, RF essentially adds the tightening needed to complement the lifting that HIFU provides.

Can’t I Just Get Collagen Injections?

You can.

But much like a facelift, this is an invasive anti-ageing treatment.

You have to deal with somebody inserting a needle into the affected area and injecting collagen directly into it.

It’s important to note that this collagen is very rarely the type that your body produces. The most common injections actually use bovine collagen that’s taken from the skin of cows.

This makes it a foreign substance, which means there’s a chance your body will react negatively to it. Allergic reactions can occur and it’s possible that such injections could lead to connective tissue disorders.

There are forms of collagen that come directly from your own skin. These include Autologen and Isolagen. Plus, there’s Dermalogen, which comes from deceased humans.

These carry less risk of your body rejecting them.

But that doesn’t mean you get to avoid all of the pain that comes with the injection itself.

On top of all of that, there’s always the potential for the procedure to go wrong. Inappropriate placement of the collagen can cause cosmetic issues. At worse, you can end up with visible lumps of collagen lying just beneath your skin.

Ulfit Does it Better and Safer

There are so many risks associated with the traditional facelift. And collagen injections aren’t much better. Both require you to go through a lot of pain and undertake risk just to get that anti-ageing effect.

Ulfit is the non-surgical facelift treatment that achieves results with no scalpels, needles, or risk. It leverages the established benefits of HIFU and RF wave s to give your skin a lift without any invasiveness.

That means no pain, no scars, and no worries.

Better yet, you’re not pumping any toxins into your skin to achieve the results. You get anti-ageing with less hassle and more safety.

You’ll only spend between 30 and 60 minutes in the treatment room too. That means you can slot your non-surgical facelift into your lunch break and return to work ready to round out the day.

You’ll see immediate results that only get better with time. After 30 days, you’ll have fully-activated collagen that’s achieving exactly what you need.

Finally, you don’t have to wait until you’ve started developing wrinkles to take advantage of this treatment. In fact, starting early can slow down the development of the deeper wrinkles that may form in the future.
